	History

Accurate Assessment Group Ltd. (AAG) was incorporated April 16, 1997 in the province of Alberta with the intent of providing property assessment services for municipalities throughout the province, including farmland inspections, residential inspections, benchmarking, commercial calculations, industrial assessments, data entry, and numerous other special projects to meet the growing needs of its clients within Alberta's provincial and municipal governments.

In the spring of 1999, AAG became involved with Geographic Information System (GIS) technology with the sole intent of providing assessment information to GIS environments. As AAG's involvement in GIS grew, so did the size and complexity of the projects it completed. The first major project undertaken by AAG was the digitizing of the farmland assessment fields and integrating all of the associated attributes (soil type, topography, etc.) to make the farmland assessment more accurate, cost-efficient and user-friendly. Since then, AAG has become involved in many aspects of GIS, including spatial data creation and editing, database management, and cartography for other municipal functions.

	The Present

All of these events have paved the way for the vision of a complete and comprehensive Municipal Management System that incorporates current GIS procedures and functionality.
